ANDREW A. INSINGA, President & CEO

Andrew’s magazine publishing career spans more than 17 years and a myriad of niches including law, software, telecom, insurance, apparel, satellite, auto and southwest art among others. His experience as Vice President with Wiesner Publishing included the launch of multiple titles and tradeshows, including Senior Market Advisor and Benefits Selling magazines which are now among the leading media in the insurance and financial planning industry. Andrew’s publishing background encompasses time spent with market leaders including Primedia, Cowles, A&M and Trader—and includes six new magazine and two trade show launches along with multiple publishing awards from BPAA, WPA, SBA, IDEA and a coveted ALFIE. Andrew’s media work has been featured in the pages of FOLIO and EXPO magazines.

MEGAN KIRKPATRICK, Publisher/Associate Publisher

Megan joined MEDIAmerica in 1996 after relocating to Portland from New York City, where she spent six years with Scholastic Inc., and worked as national sales manager for Early Childhood Today. She has also worked for a large trade publisher, Lebhar-Friedman Inc. (Apparel Merchandising magazine), Videofashion, Inc. (Fashion Video magazine), and Seventeen magazine. Megan has spearheaded custom publishing projects for national accounts in industries ranging from packaged goods (General Mills and Nestle) to toys (Playskool and Fisher Price) to telecommunications, (US West, Ameritech, Pacific Bell). Megan was instrumental in the launch of Travel Oregon magazine in 2002 for the state Tourism Commission and manages all of MEDIAmerica’s custom clients. Megan graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications with a Bachelor of Science degree.

CIRCULATION MANAGER, Jan Edwards-Pullin

With an incredible 30 years of publishing experience, Jan has been in the publishing industry since joining Architectural Digest in 1974. She was at Knapp for 10 years and was the Vice President of Circulation Marketing for ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, BON APPETIT & HOME magazines. She has conducted her own publishing and fulfillment consulting business for 21 years, and has worked with more than 100 titles during that period. She has served as the President of the Western Fulfillment Managers Association twice (and is currently on the board), the Direct Marketing Club of Southern California, and was on the board of the Western Publications Association for 8 years.

PROJECT COORDINATOR, Cerissa McFarlane

Cerissa delivers exceptional customer service by providing project oversight, workflow management and collaberation of resources and people.  Her work ensures a satisfying deliverable to custom, high-impact and special advertising customers.  Cerissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Oregon, with a minor in Political Science.

AD & WEB PRODUCTION MANAGER, Bjorn van der Voo

Bjorn provides oversight and order to the electronic flow of web and advertising materials for us and our custom publishing clients alike. He oversees the production and administration of our web properties. All advertising materials are screened by Bjorn prior to printing to check for any technical problems. Bjorn is also available as an ad designer, if the need arises, building ads for our smaller advertisers that do not have access to ad agencies or graphic designers. He has a B.A. in Print Journalism from the University of Montana Journalism School in Missoula, where he interned as one of three News Editors in 1995. Before coming to MEDIAmerica, Bjorn was a Graphic Artist for Trader Publications and Lead Graphic Designer at the Skanner Newsgroup.
